Overview

A four-week unit using colour theory as a language for feelings. Students build a personal 'feelings palette' and translate it into an abstract collage.

  • Ink, gouache, oil pastel
  • Scissors and PVA glue

  1. Step 1Colour-wheel warm-up and personal palette.
  2. Step 2Journal entry: 'this week has felt like…'.
  3. Step 3Small studies in three colour keys.
  4. Step 4Final A2 collage with layered materials.
