Overview

A month-long sculpture unit built from materials students gather from home and neighbourhood. The final works are shown alongside a short written 'origin story' for each object.

Materials

  • Found objects (bottle tops, fabric, wire, ceramic)
  • Air-dry clay
  • Twine and PVA

Process

  1. Step 1Materials swap and inventory day.
  2. Step 2Sketch three sculpture ideas.
  3. Step 3Prototype in card, then build.
  4. Step 4Photograph and write a short origin story.
